On today’s show I discussed the two best tricks for sharing your podcasts in social media to encourage listens, and subscriptions. I suggest that you podcast your file so that it can be listened to within the social “feed.” Then use a smart URL to enable people to subscribe at the right platform based on their device and country

I post my “inline” podcast sessions on social media using players that will play right within the feed (not requiring the user to leave the social media network in order to listen). I post a video of my podcast that I upload to YouTube, and I also share a version I uploaded to SoundCloud. Both will play within a social media feed.
